The New 3-D compensation plan designed by David Manning, CEO of Traverus Travel Network, contains a Binary plan component.

Normally, Binary compensation plans have been a popular way to start a multilevel marketing companies being that it is one of the most lucrative programs for a company. They start with huge attractive qualities because they are simple in many ways and offer the possibility of large and fast income growth. They create on the on the on-set huge profit from sales of the featured products.

Binary plan starts out with two distributors (one on the left and the other on the right) The next distributor coming in to the program is at a level below the left or right distributors. This feature is attractive to new distributors since they need only sponsor two distributors to participate in the compensation plan. The downside is that distributors must "balance" their two downline legs to receive commissions. Each company varies in the requirements of volume and time. Balancing legs typically requires that the number of sales from one downline leg be a specified percentage of the sales. Residual income is not a component of a binary compensation plan.
